Arches are easly done, I simple transfer the shape to cardboard, spray paint it on the wall, and cut trough the block. Do not remove it, but slide a thin panel into the grove and foam it in place!

 Once glues in place, this will stop the concrete from flowing down ward into the block. Once cured, remove the block and form. You can even reuse the block somewhere else!
