Ledgers and trusses,

all thread used to hold ledger in place.
a series of 6" holes(hole saw, click here for products) cut out (save the plugs, you might need them later) a ledger (4x) pre drilled , for Jbolts. The ledger is put up so that the Jbolts are in the hole.a 2 x4 under to hold the height of the ledger (celing height, add drywall thickness) and clamped with an all thread. Look at photos. (all structural detail are engineered)

Most all my jobs (home construction) I put up the wall system, rebar, doors and windows, ledgers and trusses to full height, and I am still not poured! Try and do that with other IFC blocks. This is the way I build and you have to be comfortable and know what you are doing, to do it this way. Other wise start at a comfortable height, then pour your concrete. Make sure to get an inspection prior , before each pour.
This is what the concrete looks like behind the ledger.
ledger set up, paper back to keep ledger from contact with concrete.
pre drilled and j bolts in as per engineering design
ready to go up
plywood washer, made from scrap on the job!
